If you have warts and need treatment I may be able to help. I recently had a patient that didn’t have success treating their wart with over-the-counter topical salicylic acid.
Topical salicylic acid is a good place for most people to start. Most people don’t have serious side effects and find the application relatively easy. They also like that they can buy it without a prescription!
This patient was not too lucky, so I offered them Beetle Juice! Not a VHS copy of the 1988 Tim Burton movie, but topical wart medication formally called Cantharidin. This medication can painlessly be applied to one or more warts. The treatment can be applied every three weeks for up to four treatments.
