Quality Grade Supplements

As a doctor, it is always a policy to go through a medication list with every patient. But how many doctors as about supplemetns? I always ask each one of my patients what else they are taking, either prescribed by myself, another doctor, healer or by themselves. People often self-prescribe. This is not wrong. We have a right to do that. But is it good for us? Is the prescription due to a neighbor that had stunning results of weight loss? Or is it beucase we saw it on a Social Media ad?

Supplements have to be high quality. Efficacy is key. And when we utilize high-quality products, it can lead to better outcomes when treating a disease or preventing one disease. I often read ingredients that cause GI distress or have added sugar or additives that are not good for our body. That is why I usually recommend supplements from Fullscript.

Several quality issues can arise when patients buy dietary supplements from third-party sellers such as Amazon and eBay including:

  • Patient don’t know the company making the product or how the product was manufactured or stored.
  • Expired products can be sold because of a lack of oversight.
  • Products may not be warehoused properly (e.g., probiotics needing refrigeration).
  • Products could actually be counterfeit.

If you want to read a more detailed article, please head to Fullscript and do check that out, as it is very detailed about FDA practices and polices about supplements and the efficacy.

Otherwise, check out the catalog!

Order supplements through my Fullscript store.

Namaste,

Dr. Strong

P.S. Another great company that has high quality products that you can’t maybe find elsewhere is Researched Nutritionals. Please use this link to register and order from their catalogue. I would highly recommend the Watermelon Tri-Fortify Glutathione. It comes in a tube, it does taste a little weird but it is excellent antioxidant support!
